Our Leader

As I often state in the opening of each of my sermons,
“It is my desire that you would see Jesus this afternoon
standing before you…” it is also my vision for Greater
to become the church that God is pleased with –
“That
He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of
water by the word, that He might present her to Himself
a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any
such thing, but that she should be holy and without
blemish.” (Eph.
5:26-27) and to become the church He is
coming back after. For if we are to accomplish that
vision, we must be saved,
“Jesus
answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you,
unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of
God.”(John 3:3) We must continue to seek a
lasting relationship with Christ,
No one
can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him;
and I will raise him up at the last day.(John 6:44)
Each individual have a charge to keep and a God
to glorify. That charge is for each individual to seek
and keep a lasting relationship with Christ, not only on
Sunday, but every day. Keep in touch with Him through
prayer and meditation. Once that relationship in place
we all can feel the presence of the Lord during our
worship services and daily walks,
“Blessed
is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat
of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the
LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night. He
shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water,
that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf
also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall
prosper.(Psalm 11:1-3) We can discern the
different spirits and our mines will be open upon a new
understanding; we will have a Christ-like mine and a
prosperous church. Whereas, we can carry out with
clarity and understanding of the significance of our
missions –seeking the salvation of the lost, promoting
the spiritual growth of the saved, ministering to the
needs of the disadvantaged, preparing God’s people for a
productive life on earth and eternal life in heaven. For
the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous, so let us ….
Let go and let God.
Continue to be
blessed,
